Decoding the shift: Organics and Critical Minerals in Future Energy
Abstract submission deadline July 1st!
Join us between the 14th and 22nd of September 2024 in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. We will have two pre-conference workshops, two days of technical talks and a post conference field trip.
Students are especially encouraged to come and present and we have a special registration rate to help defer costs.
We are looking for talks and posters covering a wide range of topics – from how organics are formed at the surface, then buried and transformed; their implications for palaeoclimate and palaeoecology interpretation of deep time; how energy is moving from fossil fuels to alternative carbon zero emissions and the new role of organics as an unconventional ore for critical minerals. Talks are welcomed on topics such as hydrogen and green carbon in steel making to carbon capture and storage.
So, get out your pens, hone your research and send us your abstracts or just come along and experience all the great science!
